Listed below are some of the frequently asked questions you might have using Hawaiian Stock Photography CD's, along with solutions to each. You should also consult the user guide for the application you are using for answers to common problems associated with importing graphics.
How can I use your images? Are they Royalty Free?
All of images in the Hawaii Stock Photography series are Royalty Free. Please view our licensing agreement which outlines permitted and prohibited usage.
I'm having problems using your site. What browser do you recommend?
The site was developed for use with many popular browsers including Internet Explorer 5.0+, Netscape Navigator 6.0+, Firefox, and Safari 1.2. If you are having difficulty viewing any part of our site, please let us know by emai at support@hawaiianstockphotography.com.
I'm experiencing problems purchasing from your site. Is there another way to buy these collections?
We are in the process of making the collections available at a variety of retail stores. Please email support@hawaiianstockphotography.com for a list of retail stores that offer our product.
I can't access the PayPal shopping cart. Am I doing something wrong?
Sometimes popup blockers or cookie blockers prevent access to PayPal's shopping cart. If you're having difficulty with one browser (ie Internet Explorer) and you have another browser available to you (Mozilla Firefox), try accessing the store with a different browser. If that still doesn't work, please contact support@hawaiianstockphotography.com.
How do I import images into my document?
Most word processing and desktop publishing programs rely on translators (sometimes called filters) to import (or place) images into a document. These translators should have been installed along with the word processing or desktop publishing software. But if installing translators was an option, you may have elected not to do so at the time. To resolve this problem, you may try re-installing your software.
To edit files use a program such as Adobe Photoshop or PhotoPaint.
Why doesn't anything happen when I double-click the clip-art?
Remember that Clip-art images are not applications. So double-clicking a clip art image from the desktop will, more than likely, not generate the desired result. See instructions in the previous question on importing Graphics into your document.
Can I make the image larger or smaller?
Yes. Depending upon the word processor or desktop publishing program you're using, you can resize the image, generally by clicking it and dragging inward on the handle in the lower right corner of the image. In some programs, you'll need to hold down the shift key. See your program's user manual for details.
